Brief Introduction

Uttarakhand State Ophthalmological Society (UKSOS) was formed in the year 2004, with a view to promote study & practice of ophthalmic science.We are over 335 members at present and are hoping to cross the 400 bar this year.
UKSOS in recent years has earned a pan India reputation. It is dedicated to serve the community and committed to support various community service initiatives across Uttarakhand.

UKSOS Chronicle

Uttarakhand State Ophthalmological Society (UKSOS) was formed in the year 2004 with the dream to bring all Ophthalmologists, from the newly formed state of Uttarakhand, together on a common platform.
Owing to collective efforts of the UKSOS Team, First annual conference of the UKSOS was held in 2004 at Hotel Pacific Dehradun, from 2nd to 3rd October, 2004. Dr. R.P. Garg and Dr. Vinod Arora installed first President of UKSOS to Dr. M.C. Luthra and General Secretary to Dr. B.K. Oli.
